High Barn Eden Wedding: Lakeland Festival Style Celebrations!
Becky and Matt’s big day was my first visit to the amazing High Barn on the Eden Hall estate.
It’s easy to get to, but also somehow feels like you’re totally in the middle of nowhere!
The set up at this venue is a photographer’s dream. Barn venues can have a tendency to slightly rely on good weather (which we did actually have) but I could tell that High Barn would have heaps to offer whatever the elements threw at a couple. Not only is the barn itself gorgeous, but there are plenty of other options with cover for group photos on a rainy day, or out of bright sun – you certainly wouldn’t feel confined to one space.
The little cottage adjoined to the barn is also a great idea, giving somewhere to get ready/escape to/hide all of wedding crap that you end up accumulating!
The woodland and sweeping open views also make this place really special. Becky and Matt had a beautiful ceremony in the woods, dappled with sunlight – it was truly magical!
