I photograph around 100 weddings a year at a range of venues in the Lake District and occasionally further afield (I’ve even shot one in the rainforest of South Australia!) My style is unobtrusive and informal – I’m happy to step up to the mark and organise people where necessary – but for the majority of the time I aim to tell your story without interrupting it. Capturing candid, authentic images of you and your guests is part of my aim – and making you look as good as possible in those moments is also important to me! My vibe is more fine art than gritty.

I don’t like to blow my own trumpet, but you honestly won’t find many Lake District photographers with more experience than me of weddings and of the area. Apart from 4 years in St.Andrews gaining a First Class Honours in Art History and a year in Edinburgh running a cafe I’ve lived here all my life!

I’m hugely competitive and always looking for new ways to be creative. I see things differently and I share this view with you.
