Apart from a few years up in Scotland (studing History of Art at St.Andrews and then running a cafe in Edinburgh…) I have always lived in the Lake District. I am lucky that my job means I get to be out in the wilds almost every day, documenting the weather and the colours – from the brights of summer to the hot oranges of autumn, then through to the gentle winter months with their taupes and greys. I ADORE living and working here. I can’t tell you how pleasing it is to my eye when a couple think of their venue and the landscape when they design their wedding.
