Hidden River Cabins – where better in Cumbria for my first big winter wedding of 2023?! Helen and Scott hosted a perfect winter wedding day. The weather was a little on the damp side, but with a winter wedding it always seems a bit more expected and it made the cabins and wedding barn feel all the more cosy. With Harry Potter themed styling in the main barn the vibes were twinkly and magical. Scott’s Scottishness (that sounds odd!) also influenced the styling of the day, with stunning kilts, tartans and gorgeous bottle greens which worked perfectly with Helen’s golden hair.
Talking of Helen’s hair….this was a wedding first for me – she went for the chop just before the first dance!! Her hairdresser on hand to lop off her locks ready for her to dance the night away – how cool is that?!
Thanks for having me Helen and Scott, you were both such a joy to photograph and your family and friends were just so much fun too!
