I mean is there anyone who DOESN’T love a traditional Lakeland Pub? Thick walls, shining brasses, roaring fires? Muddy boots and a wiry dog permanently installed next to them all year round? If you’re after bags of character and amazing food grown and smoked on site then you can’t go wrong with The Wild Boar Estate

Wild Boar weddings are always great fun, relaxed yet lively. Laid back yet with a luxury feel. This isn’t a venue where you’ll get lake views direct from the door, BUT you do get your own private tarn and extensive wild estate as a backdrop for the photos! Oh, and of course a trip up to it in the world’s wonkiest Land Rover is part of the whole experience! You can also add heaps of fun activities like clay pigeon shooting and archery onto your celebrations with a call to the lovely Mike Coates who is often based there.

It’s a gorgeous venue, but one that definitely benefits from an experienced photographer. It doesn’t have the most natural light indoors.
