Wild Boar Wedding Photos: Rustic Autumn Celebration

As wonderful as Traditional Lakeland Pubs are, I think most photographers would agree that they’re not the easiest of venues to photograph in. They are full of character, but often snug in size and built as a cosy retreat from the elements. Think dark and quirky rather than light and spacious. B U T….for all of these limitations they are often filled with the most wonderful of weddings! Relaxed and full of atmosphere, with everyone feeling right at home and a festive hustle and bustle that you just don’t get in a bigger, more formal venue. The Wild Boar suited Fiona and Yiotis perfectly. They filled the whole place with fun and laughter.

An added bonus at The Wild Boar is the extensive and amazing land which stretches up the fell behind the pub. A trip up to the tarn in the World’s Wonkiest Wobbliest Landrover is a must. It’s a fabulous old tooth rattler of a beast! It’s worth the journey for the amazing backdrops for photos of just the two of you.
