I’m so pleased this wonderful venue is offering wedding packages again. It took a break for a few years and I really missed it! When I first started wedding photography back in about 2007 I spent more time here than any other venue! It was one of the very first to offer elopement paclages in the Lake District. It was hugely popular then, and it’s very quickly finding itself super popular once more!
With it’s fellside location, Holbeck Ghyll offers stunning views over the lake towards the Langdale Pikes. The main building is full of Lakeland character and has a grand stately feel, yet still manages to feel cosy and homely. The indoor ceremony option is a beautiful room with good natural light from the bay window. With the new function suite now complete this offers a great secondary space for your celebrations whatever the weather. It’s light and airy, with endless views and makes a perfect blank canvas for your own styling.
Holbeck Ghyll has always been well know for its award-winning food. Seasonal menus make the most of the best locally sourced ingredients and the aromas coming from the kitchen are always incredible!
A big mention must also go to the lovely staff team at Holbeck. Greg has been there pretty much forever(!) and is always wonderful and Caleigh is the perfect new addition to the wedding team – we all love her!
