My last big wedding of 2022 was an absolute cracker. After a truly jam packed year for weddings in the Lakes, Natacha and Nick’s day could NOT have given us all more energy and joy at the end of a crazy 12 months – it was just undeniably brilliant!

Town Head Estate really is a dream wedding venue. Whether you’re the host, a guest or a supplier, you benefit from the fact that the whole venue and the entire set up are designed to make the day as stress-free, enjoyable and beautiful as possible. From a photography point of view it’s great to have everything you need conveniently on site without lacking in variety. There are so many options for different backdrops, views and types of lighting. If one place for group shots or portraits is going to be tricky due to the weather, then you know there are other places you can turn to for shelter or shade. The gardens provide stately cultivated elegance, but also a wild rustic feel too. New smart landscaping sits perfectly side by side with the dreamy patina of weathered doors and a delightful utilitarian greenhouse. All that’s before you even get down to the private lake frontage and boathouse!

The Style…

Natacha and Nick created a perfect winter wedding day. Their theme was super stylish in a non-obviously-festive-way. Bright blooms from Sam at Free Range Floristry popped their happy faces up everywhere, seeming to magically dance their way into new places for each part of the day. They caught the low winter sun creeping into the barn just perfectly. Paired up with lanterns and festoons from the lovely Emma Jane events the whole effect was just magical.

The ever-ace team at Karen Rhodes Catering flexed their Veggie prowess with amazing food throughout, from posh canapés to quirky through to satisfying street food. There was a whole cake table for dessert and then while the dancing was underway they began cooking up the best pizzas I’ve tasted in a long time!

The whole day was full of happiness and fun, great speeches and heaps of individuality. Another perfect Town Head treat of a day!
