Lakeside Hotel Elopement Photography – Outdoor Ceremony
Becky and Tom chose the beautiful Lakeside Hotel and Spa at Newby Bridge for their tiny big day. They opted for a “first look” so I arrived to find them all ready and excited to meet each other down by the shore. The lovely Lucy P on hair and make up had ensured Becky was chilled and looking utterly beautiful.
After an intimate ceremony on the lawn outside their private lodge, we took some fizz down to the lake for a few informal photos. We then decided to head over to Esthwaite Water to fit in another glorious Lake District location for elopement photographs. We even found some amazing twisted trees on the way back too! There are heaps of great photo opportunities at the Lakeside Hotel, but to make the most of the area I do recommend a short trip offsite. Another great option for this is Gummer’s How, which gives a lovely view back down to the hotel. Making the effort to go out on location gives a wilder feel to your wedding gallery.
Another benefit of The Lakeside Hotel is it’s situation right next to Windermere Lake Cruises. You can easily hop on one of their lovely vessels and do a tour of the lake!
