Ullswater always feels very different to Windermere to me. It’s quieter, more dramatic and has a bit of a wilder feel.
The Inn on the Lake is situated right on the shores, with it’s own jetties extending from the pretty gardens. The walk from the terrace to the end of the jetty for wedding photos is probably one of the shortest and easiest in the whole Lakes – entirely achievable in heels!
The outdoor ceremony option is one of the best in the area, with a beautiful, light gazebo which provides a nice focal point but doesn’t get in the way of the views or photos. The indoor options are good too, with views from indoors and plenty of natural light.
The Inn on the Lake team are incredible – looking after both guests and suppliers. True wedding professionals who make all of the logistics, planning and flexing to weather look effortless.
The bedrooms and suites have also benefitted from a recent update and are beautiful interiors for your getting ready photos – and again with incredible views over the lake.
