Merewood Hotel Elopement: Secret Wedding Photography for Two Grooms
I always love a Merewood Hotel elopement but oh my DAYS I absolutely DID NOT want to leave these two after their 90 minutes coverage!
Bradley and Levi you are a flipping JOY. Thank you for picking me to photograph your secret elopement at the Merewood Hotel. It was so much fun and I’ll always think of you and our funny conversations when I’m at Merewood now!
These two gorgeous grooms opted for a 90 minute package. This gives just enough time to cover the ceremony and celebratory drinks in the grounds, followed by a trip to the lake. We popped in my little car down to the shore at Windermere for some wilder shots with the backdrop of the fells. One of my favourite locations which allows easy public access for wedding photographs is Millerground. There a couple of different ways of accessing the area. You can take an easy walk (now with step free access) from the pay and display car park or if you can find space in the layby further north you can walk down through the woods. We went for the second option here.
Choosing short, efficient coverage like this allows you to get the images you need whilst still having the vast majority of the day to enjoy with just the two of you – because that’s what eloping is about right?!
