I’m still not totally sure this is a proper job. How come I get to hold a magic box that I can tinker around with so that it records what is in front of me? Then play around trying to perfect the skill of making people forget it’s even there and get paid for it? Weird…and wonderful!
Anyhoo, here’s Emily and Sam. Just LOOK AT THEM!!
Living in the moment, not sweating the small stuff, trusting the people around them who “do” weddings. They’re a flipping joy.
There were many fabulous people involved in making their day so special…
Team Abbey House. Not a regular venue for me but they are ace.
Lovely Toastmaster George, who was a joy, and a self described “red-coated sheep dog and/or sober best man”
Bridget MUA and Hair Queen, always a winner to have on your side against the elements.
Caricaturist Chris, who is just lovely and, randomly, once used to teach me piano, notably the Film ’93 theme tune.
Magic Man Joel with his crazy amazing stunts and kind offer to help me carry my kit to the car.
Also, I feel the need to note for my own journal purposes that Em’s sister got married on EXACTLY THE SAME DAY AS ME 14 YEARS AGO! I know right!
