Even before the widespread implications of Coronavirus, elopements and micro weddings were rapidly increasing in popularity. Now, with large weddings as we know them currently on hold, more and more couples are opting for a teeny tiny ceremony.
Whilst big weddings bring excitement, endless entertainment and energy, tiny weddings are often more intimate, relaxed and focussed on the couple.
Photographing an elopement requires a calm, sensitive, unobtrusive approach. Those who choose to say “I do” out of the limelight can often be introverted and even genuinely terrified of having their photograph taken.
I’ve photographed hundreds of elopements, and share some of my thoughts and images on the video above – please take a look.
Coverage starts at just £325 for 60 minutes.
