VICTORIAN MANSION WEDDING VENUE WITH EXTENSIVE PRIVATE GROUNDS

Set in over 50 acres of private countryside, Casterton Grange Estate is made up of a nine bedroom Victorian mansion (all ensuite) and an additional three smaller properties, all of which are top spec and can be rented out together or separately.

The main house is everything you could want if you’re looking for impressive grandeur. Think deep, rich colours, huge gallery-worthy oil paintings, a sweeping staircase and character at every turn.

Somehow, however, this wedding venue completely avoids the stuffy, pompous feel of some stately homes. It is – always -welcoming, warm and filled with delicious pockets of natural light that will make any photographer bubble with excitement.

The outdoor spaces also exceed expectation. From ornate terraces and manicured flower beds, to a deliciously rambling walled garden, open fields and even a lake. Oh and a tennis court, should you feel the need to work off some of the extravagance of your celebrations.

Casterton Grange is unbelievably grand and awe-inspiring, making for beautiful backdrops everywhere you look – but what I particularly love is how this is paired with such a warm, unstuffy welcome by Anneka and Patrick, who grew up here and share their family home so effortlessly with couples and guests.
