Briery Wood Weddings
As with Cragwood and Merewood, Briery and I go back a long way. I worked for Impact who owns the three hotels for a very happy 12 years, so have done my fair share of partying (and working!) in all three of these fab wedding venues!
Briery Wood is such a lovely hotel, with a warm homely welcome and no over-pretentiousness. Its gardens and large and pretty, and the gazebo is a lovely beautiful place to say “I do” on a summer’s day. The food is also amazing and their 2AA Rosettes is well deserved indeed!
I always recommend a short trip offsite for portraits at this venue. It’s in a great location for easy access to both lake side and fell top portrait locations. It’s easy to fit either (or both!) of these into your wedding day. For inspiration on locations head over to my blog here. I often take couples to either or both of Millerground and Kirkstone Pass.
