Stacey and Anthony kicked off my 2018 weddings in great style. I don't know where to even start describing these two, they are SO FLIPPING LOVELY that I only have to think of them and my eyes go all shiny. As a mum you just hope and dream that one day you get to witness your kids finding that perfect person and being so damn happy and adorably grateful for it too. Oh my giddy aunt we might all start crying again!!
Right, we need to take a moment to TALK ABOUT THE CAKE. I never in a million years would have guessed this was made my the groom's mum!! It was utterly amazing, as were the treat she conjured up later in the evening - I'm not sure if you remember the Brambly Hedge books, but this was like a magical feast of their winter ball standards - sugared almonds decorated with tiny iced bows, filigree laced shortbreads and twinkling encrusted marshmallows - simply beautiful, what an amazing talent!
Every guest at this wedding was so blooming happy and gorgeous, it was a pleasure to capture each and every expression. Stacey looked so glam, I love a full lace dress, and she embraced the weather wearing wellies out on the pier. The whole wedding twinkled with warmth and happiness, I'm just happy I was part of it too.
