I won’t lie, as much as I love the excitement of weddings, I do often feel like I’ve been hit by a bus the day after and can barely function. With Amy and James, however, I felt like I was in a little dream bubble of calmness…everything ran on time, everyone was super helpful, we laughed and smiled a whole lot and occasionally leaked from our eyes (must have been the sub zero temperatures). All in all it was a perfect Lakeland winter wedding day.
To spice things up there were felt replicas of the couple’s actual guinea pigs, an extensive cake table based on the favourites of absent friends, a personalised shoe horn, an official letter from the vets confirming the name change of their pets, a delicious and amazingly entirely vegan menu and a light sprinkling of snow. A* for marriage skillz you guys!
