Belmount Hall Wedding: Beatrix Potter Venue

I love, love LOVE a Belmount Hall wedding. There is everything to adore about this special place. In the heat of summer everyone will happily spill out onto the lawn, sipping champagne and having a swing at croquet. In winter, even on the wettest, darkest day, the hall seems to just give everyone a big festive hug and cosy them inside for twinkling festivities. Chris and Gillie and their throng of gorgeous familiars welcome couples and their friends and families with open arms and paws. They put untold effort into every event they host. Such a pleasure to work with.

Belmount and it’s gardens are a perfect backdrop for your wedding photos. Gillie’s garden offers the ideal combo of both curated and wild. Textures and patinas abound amongst the plants and trees. Just a short drive away there are even more opportunities. My favourites are Tarn Hows and Esthwaite Water, both of which are easily accessible but perfectly wild looking. Ideal for that much sought after remote Lake District wedding look!
