Hause Hall Wedding – A Romantic Celebration in the Depths of the Lake District

This is my second Hause Hall Wedding and this place never disappoints!

It was such a treat to return to this magical venue. A stunning drive along the shore of Ullswater, past Howtown and up the wiggly, steep Hause road and you suddenly arrive in what feels like the utterly beautiful middle of nowhere.

Hannah and Phil chose Hause Hall for their intimate family celebration not just because of it’s secluded, beautiful location, but because it has such great onsite accommodation too. It is just perfect for a few nights away with family and friends. Everything is on site, yet each group can have a bit of their own space too. The layout and open plan kitchen is perfect for hiring in a top chef too.

There are lots of wedding venues in the Lakes with stunning options for photos, but this really must be among the best. After the ceremony and some celebrations we popped down to the shore at Sandwick Bay (just a short drive away) for lakeside photos. We then left the car back at Hause Hall and hiked up Hallin fell with champagne. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this hike. The views once you get to the top are 360 degrees of joy. It IS a fairly steep climb though, so treat yourself to some nice walking boots like Hannah did! I think these ones were from Asos who have some great styles.

Hannah and Phil I absolutely loved chatting, laughing and taking photos for you, it was a perfect few hours!
