Wennington Hall Winter Wedding Inspiration

Being so happily busy with real weddings, I rarely take part in styled shoots these days, but when Belinda from Flower B Florist asked if I’d like to capture one at the brand new wedding venue Wennington Hall I jumped at the chance.

This is just the kind of venue I absolutely love to photograph weddings in. So much grandeur and history, so perfectly styled with moody, rich decor as well as delicious pockets of light – it’s a creative dream!

Belinda gathered together a talented team of northwest wedding suppliers, with the aim of showing how the spaces could be used to create a magical, festive winter feel in a stylish yet warm way. Many of the suppliers I have worked with before on Lake District weddings and elopements but it was great to meet some new faces too.

If you’re planning a winter wedding at Wennington Hall then hopefully these photographs will provide you with some inspiration and excitement. Winter is a great time to get married, not only are prices often lower but top wedding suppliers often have a little more availability than in the key summer months. If you opt for the quietest months (January – March) then you should find it much easier to gather the team of your dreams.
