New House Farm Wedding – A Perfect Lake District Day
New House Farm Wedding
It is a VERY nice day in the office when the couple just seem to live their best lives for the whole day! You’d think it would be the norm for couples to appear to 100% love their wedding days, but the experience can often be tinged with anxiety, tiredness, family politics and doubts over whether everyone will enjoy themselves. Harriet and Sean, however, appeared to just effortlessly float through the joy of their wedding savouring every moment.
It somehow just felt like they knew themselves well, and planned the day around this. The first dance, for example, is often a dreaded moment for couples who aren’t 100% extroverts. These two avoided for this by introducing the huge distraction of a live brass band taking over the song after a few lines of shuffling around on the dance floor – such a brilliant idea!
All in all it was a perfect New House Farm Wedding, with tip top suppliers. I can always always rely on Polly and Gareth to have everyone looking perfect and relaxed with plenty of time to spare. Extras like Anna Kate on the harp and the jaw dropping skills of Chris Cook really add to the day (and the photos!). And, as always a big shout out the the legend that is Spike, my main man behind the Landy wheel – brolly holder and dog shit avoider extraordinaire!
The wonderful team at Karen Rhodes kept us all well fed and it’s always great to work with Simon, we do have a bloody good laugh!!

Thank you so much for capturing the day perfectly, we felt really comfortable, which was something I worried about as we are not used to being in front of a camera.
