As well as being a photographer, I have an active professional role in marketing, specialising in tracking trends. This gives me a great understanding of commercial work and what my clients need their images to achieve.
I work closely with my commercial clients, and am always happy to attend meetings around branding and web or print design to help me gain a deeper understanding of the brief and even to add in ideas and considerations from a photographer and marketeer’s point of view. Having said that, I’m also used to working with little or no brief - I’m happy with both approaches!
I currently have around 20 active corporate clients on my books. These range from tourism-based organisations (including Holbeck Ghyll Hotel, the Lake District Country Hotels Group and Long Valley Yurts) through to local clothing manufacturers (Superlove and Blade & Rose babywear) as well as a number of local artists, not-for-profit organisations and schools.
I am a member of the society of International Commercial and Industrial Photographers and my work has been widely published, locally, nationally, and internationally.
I never outsource any of my post-production - all of my work is carefully hand-edited in my Lake District studio.
