Merewood Hotel Autumn Wedding : Danni, Roddy and all of the Smiles!

I love a Merewood Hotel Autumn Wedding. This venue is magical at all times of the year, but there is something special about Autumn in the Lakes. The crowds die down and the locals and landscape all seem to relax their shoulders just a little. The bright greens of summer begin to fade into browns and purples, still with a pop of colour here and there.

Danni and Roddy were one of those bookings where I didn’t really know what to expect as we hadn’t had much contact before the day. Turns out this is because they are those gems of a client who totally trust creative suppliers to do their thing :). I think I can 100% speak on behalf of all the suppliers involved in this wedding that they were an absolute dream to work for! We all fell in love with them and I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much at work all day long!

After an emotional ceremony in the Lonsdale Suite we all enjoyed live music in the reception. We popped out between tunes for confetti and some group shots. I then took Danni and Roddy on a short trip down to the lake. A few portrait shots on the shore and jetty really made the most of the Lakeland colours. There was horrendous traffic on the way back due to roadworks, but luckily I knew a sneaky shortcut. I hadn’t been up behind Merewood on that road for a while. It was so pretty that we jumped out the car for some more photos!

Back to cosy Merewood for the FUNNIEST speeches in a long while, still with big smiles all round. This really was a Merewood Hotel Autumn Wedding to remember 🙂
