Melmerby Hall Wedding Photographer: Stately Elegance and Family Fun!
Laura and Andrew’s wedding seemed to mark the arrival of summer 2022. There was suddenly talk of suncream and keeping hydrated. It felt like a long time since it had been warm enough for these things!
It was so good to return to Melmerby Hall. What a stunning venue it is. I LOVE a bit of authentic stately home elegance. Dark vampy paintwork, original oil paintings and sweeping staircases with delicious pockets of light here and there.
Laura and Andrew paired this classy elegance with a super light and airy marquee from Queensberry Events. Along with their outdoor ceremony this meant they had loads of variety for their photos and their guests could really enjoy everything the venue has to offer.
The day seemed to pass in a little whirlwind of happiness. Before we knew it the sun was setting and the party was in full swing – with dogs and children still happily flying around! A perfect English summer wedding day.
Top Tip: Have you considered a change of dress on your wedding day? Laura swapped into a different dress for the later part of the day, opting for a stunning sleek look that allowed her to fully enjoy the ceilidh dancing.
