Kha and Bradley's stunning Vietnamese meets English Wedding

Wow this really was one of the craziest weddings I’ve ever shot! It was an amazing meeting of cultures, starting with a traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony at the family home in Liverpool then, fuelled by carefully distributed packed lunches, a journey back up the M6 to the Lake District for part 2 at the Langdale Chase hotel in Windermere.

Let’s start with the tea ceremony…this was so interesting and I felt so honoured to witness this and discover all the traditions of a completely different marriage ceremony. Shooting pictures in a small semi-detached house so packed with people that you could barely put your camera bag down - let alone move around and take photos - was a little bit of a challenge but I felt total joy at being surrounded by so much energy, emotion and colour in every room!

After the tea ceremony we all headed to the Lakes, and this part was everything an English wedding should be. There was sunshine, showers, a boat trip with impromptu karaoke and of course a stunning big white dress.

Kha and Bradley are such a wonderful couple and so clearly in love with each other. Their energy is unbelievable. No bride can ever complain to me about the time their hair and make-up is starting….because it’s certainly likely to be later than 3.30am which is when Kha was up and at it! I think we all could have slept for a week after their wedding extravaganza but we’d do it all again in a flash!

This indeed is a wonderful wedding ceremony. I use to look at photographs from http://stephenslighthouse.com/2017/02/18/7-useful-resources-for-research-paper-writing/ but these are brilliant. You have shown their culture, passion and love for the family in these pictures.
