Underley Grange is a great place for a wedding celebration. Centred around the gorgeous Grade 2 Listed country house, with accommodation for 16, there is plenty of space for a marquee celebration and lots of hidden corners for perfect photos.
I've shot a few weddings now at this venue, and what always strikes me is that the couples are so relaxed and laid back. Maybe it's the secluded location, or perhaps it's the fact that they take over the house for few days and fill it with their closest friends and relatives - meaning that they avoid that manic feeling of having to catch up with everyone in just one day. Whatever it is - it is something magical.
David and Sarah chose to hold their ceremony at St.John's at Low Bentham, a lovely, welcoming church. On the way back we stopped off at Sarah's family home for a few shots, then returned to the house to join the rest of the guests. The rain mainly stayed off, the zillions of fairylights glimmered (I think Sarah's dad bought all of Ebay's supplies!) the speeches were fantastic and as I drove off into the night I could hear the celebrations continue in full form.
