Belsfield Hotel Photographer: Elegant and Luxurious Lakeside Weddings in Windermere

It’s a real honour to be a recommended Belsfield Hotel Photographer. Putting together this slideshow has made me realise what a gorgeous hotel the Laura Ashley Belsfield is. I think I’ve been taking it a bit for granted! It’s a great wedding venue all year round, and stands the test of any weather. The main restaurant room has huge floor to ceiling windows which fill it with the most beautiful natural light for ceremony and speeches. The other rooms which are available for smaller weddings are also both stunning and well lit. There is always many a Laura Ashley twinkle and texture to provide the perfect backdrop. 

The gardens are pretty and varied, and lead down to the road just in front of Lake Windermere. This is one of the most popular (in fact surely THE most popular) place in the whole of the Lake District. The lake shore is busy with holidaymakers, cruise boats and ice cream stalls all year round. You can easily hope on one of the Windermere Lake Cruise boats from here if you fancy some time out on the Lake. I love this hubbub and think it can make a vibrant, fun addition to your photos. I also like to take couples away to a quieter lakeside location 5 minutes away to get some more secluded romantic shots too. If we get the timings right then you can have the best of both worlds!

I’ve seen some great parties and buzzing dancefloors at the end of the day. The atmosphere seems to change from a pretty daytime softness to a funkier, sparklier vibe. With tip top service and great food and drink all day long it’s definitely a winner!
